PairUp terms of use
Last updated October 19, 2026
Prototype
PairUp is an independent project built for the Amazon Developer Hackathon 2026. It's provided "as is", without warranties, and may change, reset its data, or stop at any time.
No payments
PairUp does not process payments. A "confirmed deal" records an agreement between two people to meet and exchange an item. Payment and hand-over happen between the people involved.
Delegated negotiation
When you set a minimum selling price or a maximum buying price, you authorize PairUp to agree on a price within that limit. Buyers are always asked to confirm a deal before it's final. Sellers who turn on automatic acceptance agree in advance to any deal at or above their minimum.
Your responsibilities
- Only list items you own and may legally sell.
- Don't list prohibited, dangerous or counterfeit goods.
- Meet in safe, public places.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the PairUp team isn't liable for items, exchanges or disputes between users.
